If you know anything about cosmetic surgery, you’ve probably heard about fat transfer. Using liposuction, fat is removed from one part of the body, and injected into another, filling out the latter or reshaping it to look more appealing.
This is very common for facial reconstruction, as well as BBLs and breast implants/reductions. But did you know that this procedure can also be used for penis enlargement?
Also known as penile girth enhancement, this procedure can be used to increase the thickness of your penis, as well as changing the shape to make it more aesthetically pleasing.
But is it worth the money? And how does it compare to dermal injections? Let’s discuss the pros and cons so you can decide for yourself.
Fat Transfer for Penis Enlargement
On paper, using fat transfer for penis enlargement looks like a solid choice. It’s a proven procedure, and you’re not introducing any new chemicals into a sensitive part of the body. It also does increase the thickness of the penis, and can be used to correct imperfections like lumpiness or a curve.
When compared to penile implants or other penis lengthening surgeries, fat transfer is safer. The girth increase is also high, usually around one to two inches of added thickness.
And you often get more than just a bigger penis. Since liposuction is involved, fat will be removed from another part of the body, usually the stomach or inner thigh. If you’re aiming to correct other physical insecurities, this can help.
Fat transfer is a common form of penis enlargement, but for a number of reasons it isn’t the best option for most men.
The Disadvantages of Fat Transfer
The biggest disadvantage of fat transfer is the cost. This is a very expensive procedure. Most clinics will charge thousands, with upwards of £5000 not being unheard of. For this money, decent results aren’t worth it, unless the liposuction is your main priority.
For that cost, your penis will also be enlarged for a relatively short amount of time (at least compared to the best HA fillers!). The fat is slowly absorbed into the body, so the size and shape of your penis post-procedure won’t last long. It’s usually around 12 months, but absorption can be noticeable after just 3 months, and irregularities are common. The cost of top ups will add even more to the price!
Some men may desire adding length to their penis, but fat transfer only increases girth. We always argue that girth is more important than length, but if you don’t know what to expect up front you may be disappointed.
The texture of the penis will also be different compared to other procedures. As you’d expect, the fat injections leave the penis feeling soft even when erect.
There’s also the fact that there are two procedures involved. You need to undergo liposuction and the injections themselves. This often means multiple trips, more aftercare, and a higher chance of risk.
Speaking of risk, there are some you need to be aware of.
The Risks of Fat Transfer Penis Enlargement
Like with all penis enlargement procedures, there are risks involved. However, for fat transfer they are more common than HA fillers. You may experience:
- Lumpiness
- Oil Cysts
- Rapid Fat Reabsorption
- Infections
- Fat Necrosis
- Nerve Damage
- Blocked Blood Vessels
Unlike with HA fillers, fat transfer is a harder procedure to undo. A further surgery would be needed to manually remove the fat, which again poses more risk and discomfort.
This also means that, if you aren’t 100% happy with the results, reversing them is much trickier and could cost you more. Even if things go perfectly, you’ll still need 4-6 weeks of sexless recovery and aftercare, which can be a source of great frustration for men.
After reading all this, you may agree that fat transfer is not the way to go. But thankfully there’s a much better option.
The Benefits of HA Fillers over Fat Transfer
All of the issues with fat transfer are either better or non-existent with HA (hyaluronic acid) dermal fillers. They last longer, have fewer risks involved, and are much cheaper even if you pay for premium fillers.
The one advantage that fat transfer has is the increased thickness, but since the texture is better post HA-filler injections, that isn’t really a point in its favour either!
Although there is still a chance of infection, HA fillers can be removed quickly with an injection of Hyaluronidase.
The initial procedure only takes around 30 minutes, and is completely painless. If you follow our aftercare plan carefully, you’ll be able to resume intercourse after just 2 weeks. We’ll even call to check up after a while to see how things are doing.
All of this information and more is available during our free consultations. If you aren’t sure if penis enlargement is right for you, we’ll tell you everything you need to know, guiding you through the process and assessing your current situation. This is all backed up by the latest industry knowledge, and our hundreds of satisfied customers that came before.
Simply put, if you’re looking to increase the size of your penis, you need HA fillers. Fat transfer is too risky and expensive, and surgeries have similar or worse issues.
